UPP’s CEO, Sean O’Shea was today at the University of London’s Cartwright Gardens project with investors Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) to be interviewed by the ITN film crew.
Standing outside the site where construction of 1,200 high quality student bedrooms is underway, Sean O’Shea said:
“This development will be one of the largest student developments in London – combining high quality design, with affordable rents. A flagship project for our capital city.”
Commenting on the partnership with PIC, he said:
“By working together we have raised over £140 million of investment for this student accommodation project in Bloomsbury. This means that the University of London can focus its resources on teaching and research, but still get the very best accommodation for its students.”
In addition to affordable residential accommodation located in Central London, the scheme at Cartwright Gardens will also combine high quality architectural design with extensive social facilities and will also provide public access to the redesigned gardens.
