Balance on campus
Initially, in 2001 the University needed accommodation for its postgraduate students, the institutional composition of which was increasing rapidly. For York, a key priority is maintaining a balanced student community on campus.
In 2002, Wentworth and Halifax College halls were developed to provide facilities for postgraduate students and thereafter the University asked UPP to redevelop its Alcuin College residences for undergraduates. Facilities include a 24 hour access IT centre, launderette and bar.
UPP provides reactive and lifecycle maintenance services to Wentworth College, Halifax and Alcuin, enhancing the student experience for over 1000 students on campus.Get in touch
