Partnership that works
In 2008, UPP and University of Kent entered into a long term partnership to design, build and operate new high quality student accommodation and state of the art teaching and conference facilities.
£50 million was invested to deliver this and 495 new rooms, built using our award winning Eco-Residence model. The buildings themselves are up to 30% more efficient and energy saving technology helps students live more sustainably.
Since then state of the art academic facilities have been created also including a lecture theatre and study spaces. Our latest project, the Turing Development will bring the total investment to £75.6 million and will have created a total of 1840 high-specification rooms on campus, further enhancing the student experience.
