Oxford Brookes University
In 2002 UPP established a partnership with Oxford Brookes University to
develop Cheney Student Village. This project involved the phased redevelopment
and operation of a 400-room site into one which now provides 750 single
en-suite study bedrooms arranged into flats of five or six with shared
kitchen/living/dining rooms. Cheney Student Village is situated in landscaped
grounds and benefits from two onsite launderettes, covered bike storage;
and the Oxford Brookes sports centre with a floodlit all-weather football
pitch is nearby. The Hall office is available as a source of advice and
information during daytime hours and a Residence Warden and Security Officer
are on duty at night.
