UPP’s Eco Residences at Leeds Metropolitan University
A groundbreaking design that dramatically reduces the carbon footprint of university student accommodation has been employed by UPP on its Carnegie Village development at Leeds Metropolitan University. The rooms opened during September 2009 and form part of UPP’s pioneering Eco Residence initiative, aiming to promote sustainable student accommodation and green lifestyles.

The Carnegie Village demonstrates the university’s commitment to the environmental agenda and to meeting Government targets to reduce carbon emissions. This is a first rate example of how our region can lead the way in energy efficient building.
